Liberty County is a county located in the state of Florida. As of the 2010 census, the population was 8,365, making it the least populous county in Florida, and the county seat and only city is Bristol.
The Apalachicola National Forest occupies half the county.
The county has a total area of 843 square miles, of which 836 square miles is land and 7.6 square miles (0.9%) is water.
